The Steel Supply was originally founded as a specialty warehouse to locally supply ground and polished precision shafting. Today we are an international distributor operating two locations. Our warehouse, located in Rolling Meadows, IL., stocks 4,000 individual sizes and grades of steel tubing and shafting. Our in-house machine shop produces hydraulic rods, piston rods, and cylinder barrels. We are equipped for most types of general machining.
Our sister company, Precision Chrome Inc., is based out of Fox Lake, IL. They are a complete source of chrome-plated shafting and tubing for the hydraulic industry and fulfills large quantity orders at mill prices.
